Faded Old Jeans as a Canvas. Linear work on the pants legs. Worn Wall Art
Worn Wall Art was born when a school project connected with the Cowboys Exhibit at a local museum. A wonderful donation of old worn jeans, actually worn by cowboys was given to me, for the students to create art work on. The softness of the fiber was amazing to work on. Students painted in groups on one pair of jeans, a shirt or leather fringe jacket. Their work can be seen on the student gallery page. (page being updated)
I enjoyed the process so much that I created a line of Worn Wall Art to promote the beauty of nature and sustainability practice in art as well. Reuse worn jeans to create great art. A great conversation piece as well.
Hung on the wall…..they are worn wall art.
