Buckle Books

Buckle Books is a simple story about an orange cat.   Creating stories that can be shared anywhere was a goal. The original story was  a picture book that was offered on the educational form Teachers Pay Teachers.  Support materials were created for the classroom and at home.  Sharing the book in my classroom where children imagined what Buckle might think or do inspired the writing in metered poetry.  Buckle was translated into several languages to share the tradition of sharing a special moment with a book.  A series with Buckle is in development.
