With camps cancelled and being in a higher risk group, I am focusing my attention on painting. Have spent time painting all kinds of subjects but the rocks are really popular right now.

Dianne Koehler: community activist, library founder, artist, gardener, teacher
I have been painting for over 25 years, mostly in acrylics and other non-oil media. I teach adults and kids as I love sharing my love of art with others. I have owned and operated Wooden it be Wonderful for over 25 years, making and painting all types of items. I teach a weekly arts & crafts class for families at the Wells Branch Library, and occasional classes for adults.
I founded the Wells Branch Community Library, served as board president for 10 years, and completed my 6th and last term of elected office in 2010 to have a little more time in my life.
I worked with several others to create an active home gardening group in the community and maintain a blog for this and my own gardening. I harvest rainwater and have many barrels to store the water and use it in my vegetable garden. I am curriculum coordinator and teach in the Wells Branch Elementary garden program 2 days/week and work with the 5th grade Farmer's Market weekly.
Take a look at some of the artistic things I am doing by clicking on the links. Instructions for the fall raffia scarecrow are below. Recipies for several of the projects from camp are on the Arts & Crafts blog below.
