create it

WE'VE got to create a culture

of altruistic love

There is an unlimited energy throughout the universe,

flowing like a spring of water.

Physically, it is the energy that pulls together opposite ends of a magnet.

Spiritually, it is the energy that brings people together in love.

Love is the most powerful force in the universe.

However, the same energy that creates love can also create hatred.

Through altruism, the universal energy creates love and harmony.

But through selfishness, the universal energy creates hatred and conflict.

That is why people who have caused human suffering seem to have had great power.

When two things come together for one purpose,

energy comes through the relationship.

Opposites, or complimentary partners,

are things in the relationship of subject and object.

All of the natural and spiritual laws depend upon opposites,

or complimentary partners.

It is in the north and south ends of magnets

and the plus and minus charges of electricity.

It is in the balance of ying and yang energies

and the attraction of male and female.

It's like physics:

When plus and minus make a relationship, electricity is produced.

The universe doesn't stop to ask what the electricity is for.

So, electricity can be used to create anything from a basketball to a bomb.

In the same way, our Creator doesn't stop the flow of energy if we use it the wrong way.

But, we are responsible for our actions, so we suffer from the results of doing wrong.

It's like a paradox:

Our Creator is love, He made the universe out of love, and He made humanity for love.

But, humanity has suffered so much because of hatred, evil and conflict.

What did we do wrong?

Opposites came together out of selfishness and arrogance.

So, the energy of the universe came through their relationship and created hatred.

What can we do to make things right?

Like our Creator, we can create.

When opposites come together out of altruism and humility, love can flow.

People always start revolutions with the hope of prosperity, equality and peace.

But, it is not the systems of elections, laws, and taxes that are important.

There is no solution to the world's problems through external forces.

Political or military control does not create love.

Any kind of government can do good or evil because of the hearts of the people leading it.

The heart to share wealth and respect human rights comes from love, not law.

Change needs to come from the inside out - from the heart.

Where do our thoughts and feelings about love come from?

The development of our ability to love begins from the moment of birth.

Even before, it is shaped in the womb by the love of parents,

It is shaped in spirit by the love of an ancestral lineage and our Creator.

It is shaped by every experience throughout life.

Everything we think and feel in every moment of every day shapes our hearts.

We are submerged in the culture that surrounds us.

We can try to re-shape ourselves, but we also need to re-shape our culture.

It is the environment where thoughts and feelings are learned.

Our culture should be the womb where love grows.

We want to become people who have the same heart as our Creator.

So, we should create a culture out of the same heart as our Creator.

What is culture made out of?

Culture is not only holidays, crafts or performances.

It is also the way we think and do things - the ways we relate to one another every day.

Culture comes from relationships - from the heart expressed between people.

It's in the relationships of of people and nature - and of families and their neighbors.

It's in the relationships of students and teachers - and of entertainers and their audiences.

It's in the relationships of workers and employers - and of governments and their citizens.

The entire universe was created by the division and union of complementary parts.

It is the same in the partnership of our Creator and humanity.

We and our Creator are complimentary partners - plus and minus, subject and object.

The whole of humanity is the 'other half' of our Creator.

The point which draws us together is exclusive and absolute love.

Just as a man says to his wife, "There are no other women for me, there is only you."

Humankind should say, "There are no other 'gods' for me, there is only You."

True marriage is the promise of an exclusive sex relationship - one man and one woman.

Husband and wife make a commitment - so total and absolute that it lasts forever.

The same heart creates oneness between our Creator and humankind for eternity.

Every day, we pray to invite our Creator to join us as we eat our meals.

Each husband and wife need to pray for our Creator to join them as they make love.

He can join us if our love is the same as His love - pure, true, and exclusive.

The Creator and His creation - parent and child - must come together in altruistic love.

In the most intense moment of love, opposites melt together.

Then universal energy can create the ideal culture of prosperity, equality and peace.

WE'VE got to be the pure and faithful bride.

WE'VE got to embrace our Creator

with all of our hearts, minds, and souls.

WE'VE got to promise Him all of our love forever.

WE'VE got to create a culture that honors

and celebrates His love in every way.

"My Word is the water of life - drink deeply."
