• Promoted and actively engaged at WKU IEEE Student Chapter and further developed the professional component and visibility of the Chapter at university level, 2013-present
• Selected as the representative for Department of Engineering at the University Senate, starting Aug. 2015 - Aug. 2017
• Served as a reviewer for journal articles of the "IEEE Transactions on Mechatronics," 2014-2015
• Served as a Judge for WKU Student Research Conference (SRC) for best presentation and poster awards, 2015
• Nominated for the Faculty Award in advising (top 10 among 200+ faculties) at the level of Ogden College of Science and Engineering, Nov. 2014
• Served as a faculty member in definition and curriculum development of a minor in System Engineering, Department of Engineering, WKU, 2012-present
• Served as an academic adviser for 38+ electrical engineering students, 2013-present
• Served as a chair for the session of Applied Physics at 80th Annual Meeting of the Applied Physics Society (APS) Southeastern Section, Bowling Green, KY, Nov., 2013
