- Developed and taught a new course on energy systems: “Electric Machines and Motor Drives,” 2014
- Nominated for the "Faculty Award in Teaching," Ogden College of Science and Engineering, WKU, 2014
- Developed a new lab on power electronic and electrical motor drives using DSPACE Controller, 2013
- Developed a Real-Time LabVIEW-Based Motor Drives Laboratory using NI CompactRIO, 2013
- Modified lab experiments for three electrical engineering labs (Circuit II, Microelectronics, and Power Systems) for pre-lab, in-lab, and post-lab assignment, 2014
- Identified two skill gaps in students and developed two new lab experiments to fill out the gap: 1) An introduction to key functions of lab equipment 2) Advanced features and utilization of of lab instrumentation
