How things go wrong
Just a quick illustration for anyone that thinks you can move bison like cattle. The main difference is that cattle go through things bison go over. That's for fences and all, including corrals. Bison have to think that they are getting out in order to move, not be pushed into the corner and subsequently onto a trailer. Yelling and jumping on the gates results in the following.....
This is the 3 year old bull that Tom bought along with the rest of his herd. The corral is designed for cattle, and works great for them. Unfortunately bison require specialized equipement to be moved - mainly taller and that they can't see through. The bull was alright after his jump. This is just the start of a long list of things that can go wrong if you don't know what you are doing.
