Winter School Program

There will be four main strands to the winter school:

• Philosophical and historical aspects of logical diagrams. Facilitator: Dr Francesco Bellucci and Professor Ahti-Veikko Pietarinen.
• The state of the art in diagrammatic logics. Facilitators: Dr Gem Stapleton and Dr Jim Burton.
• Empirically evaluating diagrams. Facilitators: Dr Gem Stapleton and Dr Jim Burton.
• Non-classical diagrammatic logics. Facilitators: Dr Lopamudra Choudhury, Professor Mihir Chakraborty and Reetu Bhattacharya.

The program will include time for presentations by the delegates on their research ideas and will include time for network, leading to possibilities for collaboration.

In addition, the organizers have arranged a social event. Given the nominal registration fee, those wishing to participate may be asked to contribute to the cost of the event (amount to be confirmed).
