During my early explorations of the mathematical world, I discovered How to Think Like a Mathematician by Kevin Houston, a book that presents the fundamental methods for understanding this discipline in a clear and accessible way. Later, at a more advanced stage of my training, during a stay in Toulouse, France, I had the opportunity to meet the French mathematician Michel Carral, author of GÉOMÉTRIE. This work fascinated me, as it allowed me to reflect on fundamental questions such as: What is mathematics? and What is its true essence? Through a wonderful journey into geometry, the book explores the emergence of group theory and presents mathematical analysis techniques from a geometric perspective. In collaboration with the author, we have translated the book from French into Spanish, and we hope it will soon be published to make this work more widely available.
