Despite all the rain we've had this week, (which was 3.2" so far) we have been able to pick sweet corn, and gather other vegetables.  There are about 3 or 4 more plantings of sweet corn out there to pick. It is as tasty as ever and in good supply!
We are at the Manitowoc Farmers Market today which is open from 8 am to 1 pm, still located downtown by the Library on the corner of 8th and Quay Street.
We have all your favorite vegetables including sweet corn, carrots, cucumbers, cauliflower, peppers, onions, zucchini and beets.
We have a good supply of pickling cucumbers as well as slicing cucumbers. If you still need to do your favorite pickles, do them soon as they are nearing the end.
Baby red potatoes are finished. There are some really nice vine-ripened tomatoes with excellent flavor for your burgers, sandwiches or just eating plain!  We could use a little warmer weather so that they continue to ripen.
The sweet yellow watermelons and red seedless watermelons are now available along with a good supply of cantaloupe.

Peas are all finished for this season.  You will now have to wait until June of 2020 for more peas.
The sauerkraut cabbage is ready.  Be sure to call ahead for pick up so that we may have it ready for you.

Bill will be in Luxemburg today from 1 until 5 pm.  Bill's last day in Luxemburg is today, Saturday, Sept. 14th.  Make sure you plan accordingly if you are wanting to pick some things up from him there.  We are open everyday at the farm until the end of October.
