If anyone is planning on making sauerkraut this season, please be advised that due to the warmer temperatures , high humidity and all the rain we had,  it is AHEAD of schedule and starting to deteriorate.  If you wait to make it when you normally would, it may no longer be available or in good shape. It is NOW ready, so plan to do it sooner rather than later.  Let us know when you want it so that we may have it ready for you.

We are on the last planting of sweet corn, and should be able to pick on it through the weekend and into next week.  If you still need sweet corn to freeze, this is your last opportunity to get some.  We have a good supply of peppers, beets, carrots, onions and winter squash.   We have acorn, buttercup, butternut, celebration (a hybrid acorn squash) and spaghetti.   The last of the cauliflower and the broccoli are finished.   The pickling cucumbers and slicing cucumbers are finished also.

Bill is finished at Simonar's Shell in Luxemburg for this year.   Thank you to everyone that visited him there.

The Pumpkin Patch is now open!  The pumpkins are located on Manitou Drive across from the vegetable stand.  We also have cornstalk bundles and straw bales available.  The are gourds and other small pumpkins available, including pie pumpkins.
