We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend!  It was one the nicest weather wise that we've had in a few years. 

We are currently closed weekdays. We will be open on Saturday, June 3rd. Our Saturday hours are 9AM to Noon. We are available most other days by appointment. We will open for the season when the strawberries are ready which we anticipate to be sometime around June 20th. We will continue to give you updates as best we can.

The first planting of peas is starting to blossom.  We are starting to see blossoms on the strawberries. We have been watching the night temperatures and watering as necessary to keep the blossoms from freezing. The onions are looking good according to Vince.  The first plantings of kohlrabi, cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage went in and are coming along nicely. Many things are growing and progressing!  We could actually use some rain now to keep everything going!

We have a nice supply of Fictum Acres angus beef.  The weather for this Memorial Day weekend looks to beautiful and great for grilling!  Current prices (subject to change) are: Rib-eye steak- $17.00/lb; T-bone & porterhouse steak- $14.00/ lb; sirloin steak- $9.00/lb; round steak- $5.50/ lb;  beef stew- $6.50/lb;  chuck roast-$5.50/lb;  rump roast-$7.50/lb; sirloin tip roast-$8.00/lb;  ground chuck in 1# pks- $5.50/lb; 1/4# patties- $6.50/pk of 4; short ribs-$5.50/lb; soup bones, sliced liver, heart-$4.00/ lb; ox-tail & tongue-$6.00/lb; brisket-$7.00/lb.  

Fictum Acres also offers 1/4's and 1/2's of beef or a whole animal if you are looking to stock your freezer.  Please call Eileen at 920-776-1644 to get on the schedule for a half or quarter of beef.  All quarters are mixed quarters meaning some from the front and some from the hind. Let Eileen know if you are interested.
