Online Modules
The best way to access the SI robotic modules is to go to the Da Vinci online community. The website is https://www.davincisurgerycommunity.com/web/guest/home. Click “join the community” and create an account. Once you have created an account, click the training tab at the top and scroll down to online training modules. At this point, you filter down in the search area and enroll in the online trainings. The system you have is an SI with P9 software-just make sure to select as you are filtering. The training you want to enroll in is called “dv SI system modules for residents and fellows.” It will take 3-4 hours to complete all the modules required. The online community has a ton of great resources- from procedure videos to procedure cards for port placement. Definitely take advantage of this website as you continue through the learning curve with robotics.
Simulator
Attached are the instructions on how to hook up the simulator at Mount Carmel East and West. At West, just remember that you have to request the blue cord at the front desk.
