KYOSHO SEAWIND

The Kyosho Seawind is a one meter (just under 40" long) boat produced by the Kyosho corporation of Japan. The boat comes nearly completely assembled with servos and radio gear installed, making it easy to get sailing with a minimum of build time.

Our club has been sailing the Seawind since the beginning back in 2004, Boats can be purchased from a variety of retail outlets, including local hobby stores and online retailers. While prices vary, a complete boat can be purchased for around $500 with used one available from time to time . See the LINKS section of our website for further info on where to buy a boat.

Our club sails and races our boats according to the Seawind Class Owners Association rules. These rules can be viewed by clicking on the link from "Seawind Class Links" below.

Each year our club hosts the Seawind Sunflower Regatta, which often draws competitors from throughout the region.
