Workshop Skill Levels
Our workshop star level is designed to help members decide which workshops are appropriate for their skill level. Please note that these are non-professional levels. Any member can go from beginner to advanced in a few workshops.
Beginner
Learning cake decorating skills and techniques related to the workshop theme. These workshops would Include levelling, crumb coating, covering, and decorating a cake.
Intermediate
Member must be able to do beginner level skills. These workshops would involve mastering new skills, developing new techniques, and working towards an advanced level.
Advanced
Member may be asked to come with an already covered cake, depending on workshop. Members are welcome to share their ideas and skills with other members.
Registration
Registration for workshops primarily takes place at the general meetings, however if you are unable to attend a meeting please email us workshop@westislandcakeclub.com to register for workshops. WICC members are given priority for workshops, but non-members can always email us to reserve a spot on the waiting list and will be notified when spaces become available.

Workshops Policy
Registration is Mandatory.
Registration: All registered workshops must be paid for in full prior to the workshop in order to secure your spot. Registrations will be taken up to 1 week before the workshop date.
Cancellation: All cancellations are subject to a 50% cancellation fee held by the club.
No refunds will be issued 1 week prior to workshop date.
A list of supplies needed will be given to those who register and pay the workshop fee, and registration details will be provided at the meeting.
