A foundational Year 1 module, starting from the first week for all King’s new Engineering students across degrees in Term 1, aims to establish a solid engineering foundation from an energy perspective (primarily physics). It showcases students how to use mathematical, physical, and engineering concepts and skills, helping them connect theories to practical applications—from door dampers to energy storage systems. This module includes 6 labs and 25 practical sessions over the 10-week term. It’s an intensive yet a very engineering opening of the new journey at King's!

This Year 3 + MSc module, offered in Term 2, develops skills in understanding and analyzing renewable energy generation and energy storage technologies and systems. My teaching focuses on energy systems—specifically, how to analyze and model systems with renewable generation and storage solutions to address technical, economic, and environmental challenges for sustainability and net zero transitions. The module emphasizes programming for energy system modeling and analysis, equipping students to engage effectively with stakeholders and real-world projects, whether they pursue further academic study or careers in industry and beyond.
