Amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic, medical workers and first responders were on the front lines of an invisible war. Members of Wheeling Lodge #9 were forced to suspend regular meetings in person, but Lodge business was conducted online in the form of Zoom Meetings. It was decided during one of these weekly Zoom Meetings that we, as a Lodge, should do something to show our appreciation to the local medical workers and first responders. With a great working relationship with DeFelice Bros. Pizza on National Rd. in Wheeling, the Lodge purchased several pizzas that were delivered to Wheeling Hospital’s ER and to the Wheeling Fire Department’s Center Wheeling HQ and North Wheeling Station as a small token of our appreciation for what they do during this difficult time.
