2024 District #1 Meeting

Wheeling Lodge #9 Hosts District #1 Meeting

Members of various Lodges around District #1 as well as Grand Lodge Officers met Saturday afternoon for the first district meeting that District #1 has had in many years. After a lunch provided by Wheeling Lodge #9, the meeting was called to order by David Clark, District Deputy Grand Master for District #1.

Various topics were discussed as well as a few speakers made presentations.

·         John Bailey, Grand Senior Warden of the Grand Encampment of West Virginia spoke to those in attendance about the Encampment branch of the Order and the special project of the Grand Encampment, Camp Kno-Koma, Diabetes Camp of West Virginia

·         Mary Jo Wallace, Chairman of the Grand Lodge Membership Committee spoke about furthering efforts to grow membership and to be more visible in the community

·         Allan White, Grand Master spoke about his project and his accomplishments this past year as Grand Master.

It was a great day of fellowship and fun for all in attendance.
