Annual Stuffed Pork Chop Dinner a Huge Success
Every year, Wheeling Lodge #9 and Wheeling Encampment #1 hold a stuffed Pork Chop dinner fundraiser to benefit Camp Kno-Koma, Diabetes Camp of West Virginia. Each year, our total amount raised averages around $1100-1200. With the help of Unified Bank in Martins Ferry, OH purchasing several dinners for their employees, we were able to raise over $1900 at this year's dinner. With a motion and a favorable vote at the next meeting, it was decided to round this total to an even $2000 to be donated to Camp Kno-Koma.
Camp Kno-Koma, Diabetes Camp of West Virginia is a non-profit organization that provides a summer camping experience for children with diabetes in and around West Virginia.
Camp Kno-Koma has been the special project of the Grand Encampment of West Virginia since 1992, raising over $150,000 for the camp.
The members of Wheeling Lodge #9 and Wheeling Encampment #1 thank Unified Bank and all who came out to make this fundraiser our most successful yet.
