2019 Wheeling Sleepout

Wheeling Lodge #9 participated again this year in the Youth Services System, Inc. Wheeling Sleepout. The 9th annual Wheeling SleepOut took place on November 8, 2019. November is National Runaway Prevention Month and the Wheeling SleepOut is held to raise community awareness and money to address the critical problem of youth homelessness in the Ohio Valley. The 2019 National Runaway Prevention Month theme is Shine a Light, which also is the 2019 Wheeling SleepOut theme for the Boxed-In Design Contest. The Lodge came in 3^rd place in theme for our Boxed-In Design, titled “Galaxy of Hope”. This is a great event for a great cause, that is very fun for the members that participate each year.
