Each year, Wheeling Lodge #9 enters our member built parade float into at least two parades. This year was no different. With a new look, and thousands of onlookers, the members of the Lodge was able to show that the Independent Order of Odd Fellows is alive and well in the Wheeling community.
First off, was the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival Parade in Barnesville, OH on Saturday, September 29, 2018. This parade is the premiere autumn parade in Belmont County, Ohio. With thousands in attendance, our float was on full display along the more than two mile parade route. 8 members of the Lodge made their way the 30+ miles to Barnesville early in the day to put the float together and ride in support of the Lodge.

The second parade, was the Oglebayfest parade on October 6, 2018. Oglebayfest is Wheeling's fall festival and is also the location of the Ohio County Fair. This year, our float was packed full of members and their children ready to show our pride in being Odd Fellows. It was a great day of fellowship, and a wonderful day of self advertisement.
