Wheeling Lodge #9 Helps Keep Runners Cool

The Ogden Half Marathon Classic is a Wheeling Tradition. The 13.1 mile course is one of the toughest half marathons in the United States, and the race route passes directly in front of the Wheeling Odd fellows Hall. Every year for many years now, members of Wheeling Lodge #9 set up a water station in front of the hall to help cool the weary runners for the final few minutes of their run. Located only 3 blocks from the finish line, runners have come to know that we are the last stop on a very greuling, hard fought run. This year, 9 Lodge members and their families came out to cheer on the runners, and give them a final cooldown before crossing the finish line to an outstanding accomplishment. We congratulate all of the participants in this year's half marathon, and we look forward to being there for many more years supporting this Wheeling Tradition.
