Riviera

The Riviera is a coastal region between La Spezia in Italy and Cannes in France. The French area includes parts of the Côte d’Azur whereas the Italian area is known as the Riviera di Levante and the Riviera di Ponente. Sheltered by the Maritime Alps and the Ligurian Apennines on the north, the region has unusually mild winters and magnificent hot summers.
