Paris is divided in 20 arrondissements. The 16th arrondissement is called Passy and is located in the west of Paris. This rather wealthy district is more village-like in comparison to the other districts and has a lot of restaurants and houses many museums. The Place du Trocadéro, Jardin du Trocadéro, the Museum of Claude Monet, the Palais de Tokyo, the Passy cemetery or the Maison de Balzac are only a few examples of the sights to visit. Many of the buildings are designed in the style of “Art Nouveau” which was very popular at the end of the 19th century.
