WESTRIDGE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
PO BOX 751
Oak Harbor, WA 98277
IMPORTANT BILLING & POLICY INFORMATION:
The current water service rate is $180.00 per quarter. Westridge Community Association has retained NW Bookkeeping Services to manage all water billing and accounts receivable. Please ensure all payments are made payable to Westridge Community Association and remitted to the address listed above. All funds are deposited directly into the Association’s operating account.
We accept payments via check, money order and via the secure portal. Residents who utilize online banking may also establish Autopay through their financial institution. Please note that a $25.00 fee will be assessed for any check returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF). Should an account holder present two NSF checks, the Association will require all future payments to be made via money order.
PAST DUE POLICY & NOTIFICATION TIMELINE:
To maintain the integrity of our community’s water infrastructure, the following collection procedures are strictly enforced:
· 30 Days Past Due: Accounts not settled within 30 days of the billing date will incur a 10% late fee. NWBS will send, call and/or email reminders for anyone 30 days past due a few days prior to applying late fees. Now that the system is online, customers with an email on file will get an email notification saying their bill is due in five days. Then again when they are 5 days past the due date.
10 Days Post-Notice: If payment is not received within 10 calendar days after the late fee is posted, a final notice will be posted on the customer’s door. This serves as a formal warning that water service will be terminated in 48 hours if the balance remains unpaid.
Service Disconnection: If the 48-hour period expires without payment, the meter will be locked. A $100.00 lock-off fee will be added to the account balance, and full payment of all arrears and fees will be required to restore service.
PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS:
The Westridge Board of Directors understands that residents may occasionally face financial hardship. Formal payment plan arrangements may be requested; however, these must be submitted to and approved by the Board before a 48-hour shut-off notice is posted on the property.
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
We are pleased to announce that you can now pay your water bill online! We sincerely appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation while we operated exclusively through checks and money orders. For those who prefer not to pay online, we will continue to accept checks and money orders. Please ensure these are made payable to Westridge Community Association.
