Project Update, November 2016 –April 2017

The second phase of the project centered on developing our evaluation criteria and testing for tools to use for vocabulary management. While we are not done with our tools testing phase as originally planned, we are on track to finish that up in the next several weeks. In addition, we’ve started some additional projects that will lead to greater efficiencies with our planned work in the final year of the project. We have a graduate student assistant in place, who is currently reconciling our data set.

Project Update, May 2017 – October 2017

The activities in the previous phase of the grant that focused on testing open source software for vocabulary management were more time consuming than originally anticipated in the grant proposal. In addition new areas of work emerged, leading to some of the planned activities originally outlined below not being completed. During this phase of the project we have also articulated additional work for the WNAF project partners centering on metadata corrections and NACO enhancements.
