Lynn will not be available to do fellowship time from Feb1 -Mar 8. If you can please sign up or get a helper. What’s needed is to bring 1L milk, 1 pt cream, some cookies or breads, cheese or fruit etc. (check the freezers downstairs) and then to do the dishes. Karen and Margaret prepare the coffee and set out sugar etc.

It’s that time of year again! Reports for the Annual General Meeting (date tbd) are due by Mon Feb 9th!

Our next Card Party will be taking place on Mon Feb 16th at 11:30am. Join us for soup and sandwiches followed by dessert! There will be an auction, prizes and lots of fun to be had!

In response to an appeal to our congregation for volunteers, a Joint Profile and Search Committee has been formed in partnership with Zion to begin the process of finding a replacement for Pastor Mandara. Council approved the motion on Tuesday, Jan. 20, to accept the following members from Wesley to sit on this committee: Jay McLaren, Gary McKay, Rhonda Belisle, Carole Trepanier and Rhodina Gardner. 

One of the tasks for this committee is to find pulpit supply. Discussions are currently taking place with a potential candidate. Since this is still in the discussion and negotiation stage, we are not able to disclose more details just yet. We will keep you up to date as things evolve.
In the meantime, we are planning a lay service for Feb. 1.

The Nominating Committee is preparing the Officers and Committees list for Wesley for 2026. We hope that most of our members and adherents who are already serving on committee(s) will continue to provide support to these committees. There are many opportunities to offer leadership and service at Wesley. Please see a sign up poster on the bulletin board at the back of the Sanctuary or beside the downstairs kitchen. Please consider signing up for a committee that you feel you can offer help. Your help and support is very much appreciated. You can make a difference!
