Committee of Stewards meeting: Tues Oct 20 7PM in the church hall

On Sunday October 25, Wesley will not have a worship service in our church. Wesley and other United Churches in our area are invited to Calvin UC for a service at 10 AM with Guest Preacher The Right Reverend Doctor Kimberly Heath, the 45th Moderator of the United Church of Canada. Refreshments and a fellowship time will follow the service.

Calvin is inviting choristers from other churches to join a mass choir for that service to sing the Besig and Price anthem "Walking in Faith with our Lord". Joyce asks if choristers could attend at least one of two short rehearsals at Calvin: Sat Oct 17 and Sat Oct 24 at 1 PM

November is the next month with 5 Sundays. Usually, one of the area churches hosts a cooperative service for all the United Churches. Plans for November 28th will be announced once they have been decided.

Cookies, fruit bread etc. for fellowship time are appreciated.
