Luncheon and Card Party on Monday, Jan 27th at 11:00am. Tickets available from Stewards or at the door. There will be a silent auction, and plenty of fun to be had!

Join Arla Bailey & Pastor Mandara Tuesday Jan 28th at 1pm in the Parlour to discuss the ongoing Pastoral Care needs within our church family, and community. Anyone wishing to join to brainstorm as we move forward with this worthy cause are welcome. Coffee and snacks to be provided.

Diabetes Workshop is being offered at Calvin UC on Jan 30 at 1:30pm. Guests speakers from the Diabetes Education Clinic at the Pembroke Regional Hospital will be in attendance.

Wesley will be hosting Mental Health workshops on Tuesdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm (Feb 4 – Navigating change, Feb 18 – Loneliness and Isolation, Mar 4 – Mental Health). All are welcome to attend. To register please call 343-598-3468 or email aa.uovpni@gmail.com

Our church functions largely based on the dedication of volunteers who serve on Wesley’s various committees. If you are interested in sharing your skills/interests by volunteering on any of the MANY committees/groups, please reach out to the Nominating Committee Arla Bailey or Jay McLaren to discuss your options.

Annual Reports:  The deadline for the submission of annual reports is Feb 23rd, 2025. The Annual meeting will take place in March.

We will begin considering scripture in a non-literal way guided by Bishop J.S. Spong’s book “Liberating the Gospels” starting Thursday, Jan 30. Meeting in the Parlour beginning at 10:30 until 12:00pm.
