Many thanks to Karen Stewart, Margaret Ferguson, (and others) for preparing the coffee, setting out the cups etc. each Sunday morning for many years. It’s time for them to retire from doing that, for others to take over. See Lynn for information.

On behalf of the Committee of Stewards, Kathryn and Robert Leach would like to thank everyone who helped with the car wash.  We raised $752.   Twenty-five cars were washed including 2 corvettes!  The weather was perfect.  A big thank you to our son Shane Cowell, Daughter-in-law Tasha Cowell, grandson Nicholas Maillet and our Sister-in-law Nancy Rodych.  Thank you to Gary and Ann McKay, Lorraine Bertrand, Raymond and Lei-love Harmer, Lee Torvi and Emmy, and Raymond’s friend Marcus.  Many thanks to Carol Trepanier for the donation of car wash soap.  Arla Bailey, Lee Torvi and Juanita Cooper prepared food and coffee, which was very much appreciated. Good job everyone!

Council Meeting will be held on May 19th @ 1:00 pm @ Wesley United Church in the Library.

Committee of Stewards Meeting will be held on May 19th at 7:00 pm in the lower hall.

Card Party Wesley on Mon, May 25th. Lunch begins @ 11:30 am. Cards to follow. There will be prizes and an auction. Cost is $15.00.

Joint service at Zion Evangelical United Church on May 31st at 11:00 am.

Wesley United Church is requested to supply desserts for Sunday, May 31st @ Zion Evangelical United Church for the Joint Service. (Zion will supply the main dishes, salads etc.)

Come join us at Camp Lau-Ren’s Open House on Saturday, June 13 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Tour the camp, visit a cabin, and enjoy a free BBQ lunch while learning about summer camp programs for children and youth.
