Wesley Connections – We Need You!

Would you like to help reconnect with people who were once part of our Wesley United Church family? We are forming a "Wesley Connections" Team to reach out to former members and friends, renew relationships, and extend a warm invitation to reconnect with our church community. If you enjoy connecting with people and helping others, feel welcome, we would love to have you join us! Interested? Please speak with Rhodina or Arla. Sometimes a friendly hello is all it takes to reconnect!

Help wanted: Christmas is fast approaching! We are looking for some Christmas elves to help decorate our beautiful Sanctuary on Sat. Nov. 28 at 9 am. If you can help! Please contact Rhodina or Gary.

Fellowship time: Volunteers to help and/or donations of cookies are always welcome. See Lynn Collins.

Farida’s Family will arrive soon! Wesley began preparing a Refugee

Sponsorship application 6 years ago! We applied to sponsor 4 people

who had escaped from Afghanistan into Tajikistan. They have family

here in Pembroke. Farida and Manan Ahmad are Canadian citizens with

a business here in Pembroke. Farida’s family members received final

approval from Canada this month. We hope and expect that Farida’s

mother, sister, brother-in-law, and their little boy, who was a baby

when we started this project, will be here before Christmas. Thanks to

all who made donations so long ago. All of the necessary supports are

in place. Hallelujah!
