Wellshire Niners Golf League

General League Information:

We encourage golfers of all ages and all skill levels to join our group. We play at  Wellshire GC  nine holes on Thursday afternoon. Tee times run from 3:50 to 4:30, with foursomes starting every ten minutes. The league runs from end of May through August. 

We usually have two optional tournaments one in the middle of the season and one at the end. We encourage READY golf and the max score per hole is double par. 

Handicaps:

Handicaps and league champion (based on Round Ranking Points) will be tracked using Fringegolfer.com

Round Ranking Points:

This scoring system treats each round played as a mini tournament. For each round, players are ranked by their net scores and points are assigned using a 

decreasing scale from first to last place. For example, 1st place might get 100 points, 2nd place 75 points, 3rd place 60 points, and so on. The league administrator can designate rounds as "majors" on the Manage Season Schedule page. Major rounds will have double points. Cumulative scores are tracked for the season to generate the season's leader board.

Handicaps will be entered after each round.

Everyone’s email address will be used as their user name to access the Fringegolfer website.

Once the email address has been entered you will receive an email from Fringegolfer with a password.

Subs: (free to be on the sub list  -  suggested you pay the person you’re subbing for $20)

A master  spreadsheet will be created for tee times.

If a substitute is required it is up to EACH individual to find their own sub.  Subs will be eligible for prizes except for low net unless they have a league 

handicap (3 rounds).  Once a sub takes a spot they are committed for that tee time. If a sub does not show up or does not find a replacement he still owes the regular $20.
