Club Meetings & Events

Detailed below are meetings and other events for the information of club members or anyone interested in shells. If you know of any other events that could be listed here, please  contact us . 

Note: The private addresses of club members are not published on this website.   The private address of a member's home hosting a meeting is usually given in the newsletter, otherwise consult the club contact list for details.  Prospective members, visitors or others interested in attending a meeting are welcome contact us for details.  

Club meetings are normally held on Saturdays or Sundays and usually towards the end of the month.  There is no meeting in December.  Confirmed dates and basic information will be published on this website as it becomes available otherwise members should consult newsletters for details.  Visitors and prospective members are welcome at meetings.  Please contact us for information about meetings or events.  

Club Meetings 2026

Sunday 27 September: From 2.00 pm at the home of David Cowe in Greytown.  More details in the next newsletter.  

October: TBA  

Saturday 28 November:  Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held at the Kelson Community Centre, 5A Timaru Grove, Kelson, Lower Hutt. Start time and other details to be advised.   Get directions here.

Events 2026

Saturday 24 October (Labour Weekend):  Auckland Shell Club's annual shell auction at the Albany Village Hall, 21 Library Lane, corner Albany Highway & Dairy Flat Highway, Albany, Auckland 0632. Viewing from 10.00 am with the auction starting at 1.00 pm. The auction schedule and further information available from www.aucklandshellclub.net.nz. 

Events 2027 

Saturday 17 April -  Sunday 18 April:  20th Australian National Shell Show, Brisbane, Queensland. Further details available here. 

The listing of events will be at the discretion of the WSC committee.
