Teaching
Undergraduate Courses
ESC 301 Introduction to Fluid Mechanics: Fundamentals of fluid mechanics. Fluid Statics. Governing Equations (C.V. and differential form). Internal flows (e.g., pipe flow). External flows (e.g., boundary-layer flows, wake, jet).
ESC 321 Introduction to Thermodynamics
MCE 483 Thermal Systems Laboratory: Students gain comprehensive hands-on experience of the state-of-the-art instrument, facilities and measurement techniques in thermal/fluids and energy systems. Topics cover fundamental concepts in fluid mechanics, heat transfer and thermodynamics, core of the thermal/fluid track in mechanical engineering. A field trip to the NASA GRC is usually planned if time allows.
