Dr. Wei Zhang (PI)
Dr. Zhang is a scholar who conducts fundamental and applied fluid dynamics research to address humanity's grand challenges, and an engineering educator to nurture competent, future-ready engineers. Her work is supported by the NSF, Ohio Space Grant Consortium and the Department of Higher Eduation.
Erick Shelley (Ph.D. Student)
Erick is studying bio-inspired flow control strategies to suppress the rooftop vortex formation above low-rise buildings. Erick has won the CSU Graduate Student Research Award in 2021 and the Ohio Space Grant Consortium Internship.
