        Research Interest: Macroeconomics and financial economics. My research studies how liquidity, financial frictions, and the design of public and private money shape monetary policy, fiscal policy, financial stability, and economic growth. How different forms of liquidity affect macroeconomic outcomes. You will see

My understanding of "Liquidity": an economically valuable service, and understanding who supplies it, who demands it, and how it is allocated explains monetary policy, fiscal policy, investment, wealth inequality, financial crises, and now the future of digital money.

My name in Chinese is 崔巍, coming from 《楚辞》or Songs of Chu, a form of classical poetry in the place I was from. It means steep mountains because there are two mountains on top!
