Chauffeured Service Rentals generally cover the following in the rental charges:

• Chauffeur

• Petrol

• ERP

• Parking

• Trip for Decoration on the eve of the wedding (one hour for decoration to be installed)

The costs that may be additionally incurred are as follows:

• Overrun charges on eve of the wedding due to decoration exceeding complimentary duration of one hour

• Overrun charges on wedding day

• Angbao for Chauffeur (not compulsory for most cars)

Self-Drive Rentals only cover the rental charges. Some additional costs that may be incurred are:

• Angbao for Chauffeur (if getting someone you know to drive)

• Petrol

• ERP

• Parking

The costs that may be additionally incurred are as follows:

• Security deposit deduction or forfeiture due to breach of contract terms and conditions (refer to "Terms and Conditions")

• Fines related to Parking or Traffic Offences

• Repair costs of the car due to damage or accident during the rental period

For Chauffeured Service Rental, it is not compulsory to give an angbao to the chauffeur since couples have paid the rental charges. However, it is highly encouraged as it is a gesture of appreciation for their time and service in making the wedding a memorable one.

For Self-Drive Rental, if the driver is not the groom himself but a relative or close friend is chauffeuring, it is highly encouraged to give an angbao to the chauffeur for the same reasons as stated above.

The angbao rates received by our chauffeurs range from $0~$200, with majority of our past couples giving $28.

From our past experiences, 90% of couples plan their chauffeured service rentals as follows, sequence of events may vary:

a) Chinese Wedding Luncheon with prior Solemnisation / Tea Ceremony at Hotel

b) Chinese Wedding Luncheon without prior Solemnisation / Tea Ceremony at Hotel

• Pickup Groom and travel to Bride's (15~30 minutes)

• Gatecrash at Bride's including photography and videography (75~90 minutes)

• Couple travel back to Groom's (15~30 minutes)

• Tea Ceremony at Groom's including photography and videography (30~45 minutes)

• Couple travel back to Bride's (15~30 minutes)

e) Indian Wedding

• Pickup Groom's relatives and travel to Bride's (15~30 minutes)

• Bride and Bridesmaids travel back to Temple (15~30 minutes)

• Wedding Ceremony in Temple including Lunch/Dinner Reception (240~300 minutes)

• Couple travel to Bride's (15~30 minutes)

• Short Stay at Bride's (15~30 minutes)

• Couple travel to Groom's/Home (15~30 minutes)

Total = 330~480 minutes

This will depend on the following:

• Any auspicious timing to leave Groom's House

• Any auspicious timing to enter Bride's House

• Any auspicious timing for couple to return to Groom's House

Other than the above, couples can work back on the commencement time based on activities prior to latest allowable time of arrival at Church / Mosque / Temple / Hotel / Solemnization Venue

Typically, most self-drive rentals carry a minimum 24 hours duration during weekdays and can go up to minimum 48 hours duration it crosses any day on weekends, depending on the minimum duration of the selected car. Usually the car collection is on the eve of the wedding day in order for couples to send the car to their respective bridal studios or florists for decoration to be installed.

• For Wedding Luncheons, a 24 hours duration would suffice since couples would be able to return the car after the event which usually ends by 4pm. Car return can be planned at 5pm and working back 24 hours, the collection time can also be planned at 5pm the day before.

• For Wedding Dinner Banquets, a 24 hours duration might suffice if couples are able to arrange for their assigned chauffeur or someone to assist them to return the car once they arrive at the hotel, which usually would not exceed 5pm. Car return can be planned at 6pm and working back 24 hours, the collection time can also be planned at 6pm the day before.

The minimum rental duration is to be strictly followed. Couples are advised to plan, in order to maximize the rental. These activities can include gatherings with family or friends on the evening after their wedding luncheon, or returning of bridal suits and gowns on the following day after the wedding.

This depends on the maximum number of allowable passengers for each car. As long as the maximum is not exceeded, other passengers can tag along with the couple, usually taking the front passenger seat.

However there are certain cars that are for couple use only, therefore no other passengers may be allowed in the car.

Yes, most of the cars will allow one complimentary trip within the rental duration to be used to fetch couple's parents to hotel, couples can also extend their booking hours to cater for the trip.

However certain cars have trips limits within the rental duration, or car is strictly for couple usage only and therefore any additional trips will be chargeable.

Yes, we are able to arrange viewing of the cars at car owner's location at no charges. To view at couple's convenient location, there will be a $50.00 transportation charge.

Car viewing is also subject to car availability on the viewing date.

• Avoid making any U-Turn on the way to fetch Bride

• Avoid reversing the car while Groom is seated inside prior to fetching Bride

Wedding Carz reserves the right to replace any confirmed car booking with a car of minimum same series in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as breakdown.

Decorations will be replaced if breakdown occurred after car decoration completion. However, we will try to minimise disruptions to the wedding schedule should there be any.

In the event that couples request for any change of car after booking had been confirmed, if no prior agreement was made, change will be subjected to availability and costs if the prevailing rates of the confirmed car is lower. Deposit paid for confirmed car will also be forfeited.

There will be no refund of any deposits or full payment in the event that reservation is cancelled by the couple.

In the event that the reservation has to be cancelled as Wedding Carz is unable to provide a satisfactory replacement car, all deposits or payments will be refunded in full.
