Task

Given the knowledge that many of your classmates could, at this very moment be lost in Washington D.C.  there is only one thing for you to do:

You have been assigned an important task - designing guidebooks that the 8th graders could use on their trip to Washington D.C.

But, there's a problem.  Touring such a large city on buses and visiting so many places is sure to lead to dozens and dozens of students losing their guidebooks.  What's the solution?

Why, make it digital of course!  The 8th grade students need a digital guidebook that they can access from the Google Docs app on their smart phones that will lead them to 10 must see sites in Washington DC and give them a brief background about the site, so that they know what to expect upon arrival.

A Quick Note About What's Inside:

Your digital guidebook will need to be user friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and provide all the information that students will need to get around our nation's capitol.  You will produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience (CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.7.4) for this assignment.
