The Weavers Guild South welcomes men and women with various levels of weaving interest and skill.

Its purpose is to create a supportive environment to nurture creativity and individuality.

This fine art show will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2019, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

LOCATION: This year’s show will be at the St. John’s Lutheran School,

4231 183rd St., Country Club Hills, IL 60478

All work must be original work of the artist.

Fee: $20 for Weavers Guild South Member and 12% of sales.

Please note that the Weavers Guild South does not collect tax on purchases. You need to include the tax amount in the cost of your item. It is your responsibility to send the sale tax to the Illinois Department of Revenue if you are a business.

Return the application below with your $20 entry fee, write checks out to Weavers Guild South.

Entry deadline is September 21, 2019.

No applications will be accepted after September 21, 2019

Only art pieces that you make as an original creation are acceptable. No manufactured or imported goods are allowed. Show officials retain the right to have violators remove disallowed items or to remove violators. We reserve the right to move exhibitors.

In consideration of my being permitted to exhibit and sell my work in the fine art show, Weavings & Diversities, on October 19, 2019. I hereby waive any claim or action for damages, including but not limited to those based on negligence, against the Weavers’ Guild South or St. John’s Lutheran School, arising from injury to my person or damage to or loss of my artwork. Work at the show is not insured unless the artist insures it at his/her own expense.

Non-members need to send photos (jpeg) of the type of work you will be selling to bbkirk@sbcglobal.net , mail your application along with your entry fee. Returning artists need not send photographs if bringing the same type of art.
