The mission of WCOAGC is to promote and support the academic, social and emotional needs of gifted students in West Central Ohio.

OUR GOALS ARE:
  • To provide professional development opportunities.
  • To increase public awareness of the needs of gifted and talented students through advocacy at the local, state, and national levels.
  • To encourage interaction and collaboration among members through networking.
  • To form alliances with community and professional organizations.

MEMBERSHIPS


WCOAGC Memberships:

  • Gifted Advocates of West Central Ohio are encouraged to purchase an annual $15 membership. 
  • Memberships help make it possible for WCOAGC to provide quality programs about the current status of gifted education as well as strengthen the support for gifted education in Ohio.  
  • Members have access to all shared resources on the WCOAGC wikispaces.com. To request access email Jean Kremer.

 Lifetime Memberships:

  • Retired Gifted Educators are granted a lifetime membership, and are invited to attend WCOAGC events for the cost of the lunch. We hope you will join us! 
  • Retired / Rehired Gifted Educators who are supported by professional development funds in their district are asked to pay regular workshop fees.
