I leave for the farm in one week. Huzzah! As such, I have been as busy as a woodchuck in a logging convention in preparing for departure. Because I am going to Idaho, a state which does not border an ocean, and because I love fish, I am bringing a car load of canned fish with me. Specifically, I am bringing 124 cans of sardines in spring water with me, as well as a bunch of salmon and tuna. I will be on the farm for four months, which is approximately 120 days, and so I have calculated that I have enough sardine cans to last the entire trip at one can per day, with four cans left over for the car ride there and back.
Note: There are actually 127 cans in this photograph, but I ate three cans.
Here are my sardines in M.C. Escher impossible staircase form.
