If you have a student at Wayside Elementary School consider yourself a part of The Wayside Elementary Parent Teacher Association. The PTA consists of five board members, committee chairpersons, administration, teacher liaisons, teachers and PARENTS, like you. Volunteers are so important to supporting the overall atmosphere and experience of our students' time at Wayside Elementary School. Supporting Students & Staff is the heart of what we do. Whether it’s helping in the classrooms, displaying artwork, organizing the book fair, planning community events like the "School Store" or "Picture Day," there’s always room for more VOLUNTEERS!
WHAT DOES the WAYSIDE PTA DO?
-We welcome volunteers at all PTA events and functions!
-Our PTA funds gift a book to every Wayside student at the annual Follet Book Fair.
-Our PTA funds allow us to gift a yearbook and parting gift to every 4th grade student.
-Our PTA funds allow every 4th grader to receive and keep a safety patrol belt.
-Every class takes a PTA-funded field trip.
-We run the yearly Carnival, Family Fun Night, Bingo Night, Chess Club, and Auction.
-And SO MUCH MORE!
