The Law Library is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM except on legal holidays or as noted in exceptions to regular hours.

The Law Library Resources Board will meet at 11:00 AM on the following days in the Law Library:

After Hours Access Policy
The Wayne County Law Library is open to the public from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The Law Library is closed to the general public outside of these hours.
All visitors are permitted subject and pursuant to the rules and discretion of Wayne County Municipal Court Security personnel. Any visitor may be removed by Wayne County Municipal Court Security personnel at any time and for any reason.

Attorneys and Court Personnel (including interpreters) may access the Law Library outside of these hours for the following purposes:
1. For research using either the physical collection or digital resources, including printing;
2. For use of the Law Library meeting space; and
3. To conduct pre-scheduled and pre-approved depositions, mediations, meetings, and other similar use of the Law Library space.
Any member of the public who wishes to accompany an attorney after-hours for one of the above enumerated reasons may do so provided they are accompanied by the attorney.
As the Wayne County Municipal Court is closed to the public at 4:30 PM, all visitors must leave the Law Library no later than 4:15 PM.
