Wave OS DR05 is finally here.
Is not based on the old source code that Wave project was started upon, but its a Debian GNU/Linux based distribution wich uses Gnustep as main library.
This very first ever ISO image is a LiveCD, it does not install to hard drive, but it serves the purpose of proving that Wave OS is alive and moving and it has a future. GNU/linux has been chosed since the Gnustep environment works best with it and its going to be the main engine for this new era.
Now Wave OS DR06 is in the works...
Please download this file. You can burn to a CD, install into a USB drive using an utility like Unetbootin or try in virtual machine.

Wave Project's Night Build eras has began!
The very first DR05 night iso has been issued. Please look here for further information.
Wave OS DR05 is in the works:
A new wrapper-library made between the objective-c parts of gnustep project and existing objects from the inherited library of this system, is in the works.
Finnaly, a working compilation recipe (makefile) has been achieved.
Most basic objects have been already "wrapped", system configuration is still in the works and majority of the error messages have been cleared.
On the inmediate time, a new ISO file is to be issued on next days. It does not mean a fully gnustep-understanding system, however, it does not mean it can not happen.
Website has been completed:
This website has been migrated from Old to New Google Sites.
Wave Project now fully supports GIT and all the required information, from Source code, Iso files and even Reading Material is to be offered this way. Since Monday 18 of 2020, this is how you should expect things to be.
Wave Board:
Wave Single Board Computer is an open-hardware project aiming at a small piece of hardware able to run natively Wave Operating System. Hardware options and development tools are still on deep assessment so you should not worry about its implications at this moment. Basic goal is to use some open hardware soc like Risc-V and Coreboot as firmware, but even this is under assessment. Please visit "Wave Board" on the header of this website for further information.
