WaterTools Installation

To install,

• 1. Download the watertools zip file from the download page,

  2. Unzip to temporary folder on your computer (preferably on your desktop).

  3. Unblock  both watertools_01.xla and watertools.chm files:

     • In Windows Explorer, right click on each of the files

     • Select properties

     • In the general tab, select the Unblock button

  4. Copy both watertools_01.xla and watertools.chm files to the appropriate library folder as follows:

• • • Office 365/Windows 11 - C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\Library

    • Office 2016/Windows 10 - C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\Library\ 

    • Office 2013/Windows 7 - C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\Library

    • Office 2010/Windows 7 - C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\Library

    • Office 2007/Windows 7 - C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\Library

5. Activate watertools in Excel:

1. • • Open Excel

     • Open the "Add-In Manager" in Excel. To find the Add-in Manager, follow instructions given in MS Excel Help.

     • Check the box next to watertools_01
