Think About It Elections

In 2012, less than 60% of eligible voters turned in a ballot for the presidential election. The President is also determined by electoral college votes, not by popular vote.

- In the 1960's, the voting age was lowered from 21 to 18. States have different rules when it comes to voting with a criminal record.

What type of restrictions should there be on voting in the United States? What about US citizens living abroad? What about non-citizens?

Presidential campaigns can cost up to $1 billion dollars to run. Should there be restrictions on spending? Does this create conflicts of interest?
