Classroom Expectations

Guidelines:

Be Respectful – Respect plays an important role in the classroom. Respect yourself and your classmates at all times. You will find everything in life is much easier when you are courteous of others. I appreciate open communication as long as it is done in a respectful manner.

Be Responsible – You are responsible for your own behavior. Remember the school rules. It is not your responsibility to know everything, but it is your responsibility to put forth your best effort. If you work hard, you will be rewarded. Remember that the classroom is a community.

Be Caring – Remember that the classroom is a community. A positive environment makes it possible for everyone to thrive. We can all succeed together.

Consequences:

Posting of rules and discussion constitutes a first warning of class expectations. Possible consequences might involve:

Ø Oral warnings

Ø Extra assignments

Ø Parental Contact

Ø Behavioral referral
