Hello WAI Greater Los Angeles Area and Mt. San Antonio College Chapter Members!
Please join us for a tour of the LAPD Hooper Heliport in downtown Los Angeles, the world's largest rooftop airport, hosted by WAI member, Terri Lincoln. We will welcome special guests from WAI International who are in town for AOPA's Aviation Summit. Please be on time so we can access parking together and plan to join us nearby for lunch afterwards! PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS BELOW;
Meet at the front entrance (Guard Gate) to Piper Tech
The huge brick building off the 101 fwy at the Alameda exit

We will meet there and then caravan up to the 3rd level for parking.
No names or picture ID's will be required if everyone goes up as a group.
This time period will also include the opportunity for us to watch the launch and landing for the afternoon shift.The tour will end in the conference room with a short powerpoint overview and a quick general meeting.
The tour will last approximately 2 hours.
There are a lot of stairs with no elevator.
Wear comfortable walking clothes and shoes.
Bring cameras and sunglasses.
