DISTRICTS WEEK! We will get in a medium distance + accels Monday, a big workout Tuesday (most likely using the road loop around the front lot), maintenance day Wednesday, and pre-race Thursday. If you aren't racing Friday, Thursday will be another mid-distance day.
Monday Feb 2: NO SCHOOL. Today is a medium distance day with accels. Please get in 6 miles with 8 x 30 second accels. Ridge Road is clear for running! Unofficial practice at 2pm at Ridge Road (I will be there). If you can make it out there, come run with friends! :)
Tuesday Feb 3: NO SCHOOL. Distance girls will meet at 3pm @ WAHS for practice. We will be done by 4:45-5pm. "Track" Workout. Come with a positive attitude and ready to get in a good workout. It will be taylored to what your goal is this week. If you are trying to make it out of the District to Regionals, it will be a tad bit lighter.
Wednesday Feb 4: Meet in Gym Lobby: Recovery Day (3 miles + stretching in the PODS). Pick up time 5:20.
Thursday Feb 5: Meet in Gym Lobby: Pre-race OR Mid-distance day. Pick-up 5:15 for Pre-Race (Except 4x800--pick up for you 4 is 5:30), 5:30 for Mid-distance folks.
Friday Feb 6: DISTRICT MEET! @ Penn Laird. (Snow make up date: MONDAY)

Field Events start at 3:30, Running Events Start at 4:30. Get out of class at 12:40, bus leaves at 1pm. The bus will probably be back at WAHS at 10pm.

We will use a rolling schedule for running events. First call 15 minutes before start, second call 10 minutes before, and final call 5 minutes before start. Approximate timeline below. MAKE SURE YOU ARRIVE IN PLENTY OF TIME FOR YOUR EVENT. We could get quite ahead (or behind). It is better to err on the side of caution and arrive early.
