Job Description for Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer for the Pack
The treasurers' primary roles are to deposit dues and other fees received during the operations of the Pack, pay the small number of bills and reimbursement requests received by the Pack and keep the Pack leadership informed of financial activities and assets.
Safeguard the Pack's financial resources and well being
Handle the recording and deposit of receivables in a timely and organized manner go to the bank 4 or 5 times a year
Coordinate financial business with the Pack leadership
Review, record and pay approved invoices in a timely and organized manner
Review, record and pay reimbursable expense requests in a timely and organized manner
Inform the Pack leadership promptly of any concerns about decisions or behavior
Maintain financial records neatly so that both of you and your successors can easily understand and access those records
Create a Pack budget approved by the leadership
Attend leadership meetings to effect the check hand-offs
