Born in Vancouver WA. As a child we lived in Vancouver WA, Sweet Home OR, Fresno CA, Auburn WA, Burien WA, White Center WA, West Seattle WA, Federal Way WA. Married, one daughter, one grandson.
Favorites: Martin Heidegger, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Rhodedendron, Plums, Nastursiums, chocolate chip cookies, vanilla ice cream, PowWow Highway, Waiting for Godot, Star Gate SG-1, Star Trek, Tigers, Brown Pelicans, living green.
Hobbies: building our retirement home; sailing; beating my head against the brick wall of public education's ponderously slow transition from 1860 money-factory systems to 2060 knowledge-learning systems.
Styles/Strengths: in Myers/Briggs I usually list as an INTJ, sometimes as INTF. In multiple Intelligences I generally list as higher in logical/mathematical, intrapersonal and visual/spatial, lower in musical, naturalist, kinesthetic, verbal/linguistic, and interpersonal.
I am on the path of building the future, not the treadmill of repairing the past.
I believe the race goes to the one with the steady progress, the turtle. I often take naps.
You live longer that way - each time you wake up is a new day!
