Goals

My goals for being a part of the great school board would include:

I would like to continue to support the strong relationship between the public and school district.

I feel I have a good rapport with students, parents and the school district; acting in a professional and respectful demeanor.

Because I have been a nurse for over 30 years, I pride myself with having good listening skills to hear diverse points of view and understand what it is to be an advocate. Nurses are known to be the most trusted profession.

I plan to continue to work fiscally within our budget, with the goal to provide outstanding education to the students of city of Muskego and township of Norway. I am conservative minded.

I will commit myself to the time and energy required for meetings, phone calls, conversations, visits to schools, and professional development seminars and workshops. Keeping current on the district's needs. 

I am aware of the district's policies, guidelines, needs, challenges and strengths, and will fight to advocate for parents, teachers and kids. Currently I am on the curriculum and policy committees.

I have been on CESA 1's Board of Control for the last 6 years, currently serving as their Vice President. And achieved a Level 2 in the WASB Member Recognition Program and I plan on keeping current with learning about different programs others have to offer.

Finally, I feel that I have the ability to work with a team and support group decisions that move this district in the direction of being the district of choice.
