Analogue materials for volcanology experiments

Introduction

The purpose of this site is to develop a useful and practical compilation of properties of materials used in analogue experiments of volcanic processes.  It will also provide a guide to scaling experiments to volcanic conditions  and information on laboratory techniques.

This wiki was initiated by the NEMOH Marie Curie Initial Training Network.  As part of their training, NEMOH students will be measuring the properties of materials and considering their suitability for simulating volcanic processes in the laboratory.
