LIFE ON CHIPS SEMINAR-FEBRUARY 2015
A seminar entitled Life on Chips was co-organized by BPME and VLSI Research Units on the 24th February 2015
The speaker was Dr. Danny van Noort who is currently an Associate Professor at the Engineering and Applied Sciences Department, Universidad de los Andes, Chile. He received his doctoral degree from the Institute of Applied Physics, Linköping University, Sweden where he developed affinity biosensors. His vast research experience include placements in Fraunhofer Institute, Germany, Princeton University, USA, Seoul National University, South Korea, Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, Singapore and many others. He has co-authored over 30 high impact journals in field of bio-sensors and research are in 3-D cell cultures in micro-fluids, renal disease models and also, bio-printing and 3-D lithography.
