Christmas for our troops

Each year the CCISD LDC detachments have been involved “Christmas for our Troops” this initiative is done in support of our troops overseas during the holidays. This year will be continuing this tradition all the donations will be sent to CPT Troutt's unit.

Here is how you can participate:

1) Cadets can bring in Christmas cards that will be signed in class

2) Buy a collection of travel size items:

a. Hand/body soap

b. Shampoo/ conditioners

c. Toothpast and tooth brushes

d. Lotions

e. Deodorants

f. Detergents

g. Games – i.e.. playing cards, chess, dominos

h. Pens/stationary

i. “Pogiebait” – hard candy- lyophilized soups and pasta- cereal bars (food that doesn't melt and can travel for more than 1 month)

j. Paperback books

3) By donating money to help pay for the shipment of the boxes.

Collection of items will be done between October 1^st and November 10^th. Please bring items to Chief Starck’s classroom or label them for him and leave them at the front desk.
